Vaginal Tightening

FAQs
What is the actual mechanism? Using ultrasonic waves as the energy source and taking advantage of its penetration and locality, the system will send out ultrasonic energy focusing on the lamina propria and muscle fibre layer at a predetermined depth; a region of higher ultrasonic intensity called the focus region is formed. In 0.1 seconds, the temperature of the region can reach over 65°C, the collagen is reorganised and the normal tissue outside is undamaged. Therefore, by selecting the most appropriate depth layer, the most ideal effects on collagen can be obtained, such as contraction, reorganisation & regeneration. Ultimately, the effect of vaginal tightening is achieved.
Don't be confused between a laser and HIFU HIFU is a completely non-invasive treatment and penetrates much deeper than a traditional laser or Radio Frequency into the SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System) layer. This is NON-SURGICAL vaginal tightening improving the health and vitality of vaginal tissue using High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU). It is highly effective at rebuilding skin elastin whilst tightening.
When will I notice the results? Some results are seen immediately post treatment with optimal results expected from 3-6 months however, collagen regeneration has been clinically proven to continue at 9 months post treatment. Most clients report a significant improvement in stress incontinence within 7-10 days.
How long do the results last? Individual results will vary however, a minimum of 18 months - 3 years can be expected.
How many treatments are required? The number of sessions depends on the client's age and vaginal condition however, one treatment is usually sufficient.
Does it hurt? The sensation you feel will be like a warm prickle. As settings will be adjusted to suit your own comfort levels, this treatment is classed as pain free.
How soon after childbirth can I have the treatment? You must be 12 weeks post-childbirth before having the treatment, and not be breastfeeding or lactating at the time of the treatment in order to obtain the best results.
Can I have the treatment whilst on my period? It is advisable not to have the treatment whilst on your period as you are more sensitive around your time of the month. A stronger setting can be used and therefore better results obtained if the procedure is carried out mid-cycle (two weeks after your period).
Can I still have the treatment if I have a prolapsed womb? Yes, you can. The treatment will not reverse your prolapse however, it will improve vaginal sensitivity, bladder control, etc.
We proudly use the latest HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) technology for Vaginal Rejuvenation, which is called HIFU Vaginal Tightening. The HIFU system uses a non-invasive ultrasonic focusing technique to focus on the mucous membrane, fibrous layer and muscle layer directly. Using high intensity ultrasonic waves as the energy source, it penetrates to the required layer of tissue causing micro-injuries (controlled trauma), collagen is subsequently reorganised whilst the outer tissue is not damaged. This basically warms the vaginal tissue at the correct depth to the correct temperature without burning the surface. This localised heating of the tissue stimulates collagen fibre formulation in the vaginal tissue thereby tightening the tissue of the vagina.
